When you install the Dropbox client in Windows 11, its icon gets automatically added in the Navigation Pane of the File Explorer. The Dropbox icon provides you easy access to your Dropbox folder. It also allows you to quickly drag and drop files to your Dropbox cloud storage. However, if you don’t need this icon in the Explorer, you can remove it.
Method 1: Using Registry Editor
The first method to disable Dropbox from showing an icon in the Windows Explorer is using the Registry Editor. This is a complex procedure. If you want a simplified procedure, skip to Method 2 below.
CDF uses official Dropbox API. No username and password is stored. Made by our company, Sorcim.

Method 2: Using a Batch File
There’s no need to manually change the Registry configurations yourself. It can take a lot of time and effort to search through hundreds of thousands of entries. A better option is to use a Batch file that automatically does this task for you with One-Click.
